FAQ
Do you shoot destination weddings?
Sure, I'm interested! Additional fees may apply.
Will there be a second shooter?
For families/couples/seniors, no. It's just me! For weddings, there are options to add a second shooter depending on the package you choose.
How long is a session?
Family and couple sessions typically run 45-60 minutes. For an extended family (more than one household!), we probably add another half hour. Senior sessions average 1-2 hours depending on outfits/locations/etc.
What kind of gear do you use?
My main camera is a Canon R6. I have a few 6Ds for backup. I use mostly prime L-series Canon lenses. My favorite lens is my 50mm 1.2L. I have flashes and other stuff for when it's necessary.
Do I have to order prints through you?
No, you are free to download photos and print where you desire. You CAN order right from the gallery though, and it will be filled through a pro lab I'm connected with.
Where are you located?
I live just outside Grand Rapids, Michigan. Happy to head to the city or the lakeshore for local sessions.
How long until my photos are ready?
For portrait sessions, about 2-4 weeks. Weddings will be delivered within 8 weeks. With both I tend to post lots of preview photos on social media as I edit.
Do you offer mini-sessions?
I typically offer a few dates of mini-sessions throughout the year. These are on specific dates and locations that I choose. If you'd like to be on my email list to have first dibs, please contact me.
